I got a new computer! Resume posting with vigor!
The end date of my poem-a-day project will be pushed back a bit to make up for this. I will let you all know what is up as soon as I do.
The start of my new feature Re-Read will begin next Monday. I will be talking about A Wrinkle In Time.
Thank you to everyone who wished me well as I navigated the perils of being a NYPD procedural.
That Small Death 4/17
Outside the police station
the dead bee...
Every spring I am finding
these sudden fallen insects
Ass up on the sidewalk
This one is pitch black
and the size of a plum
It is April the flowers are done
boughs dry from lack of rain
I stare into that small death
and I cannot see anything useful
